(34) باب اسْتِحْبَابِ تَحْسِينِ الصَّوْتِ بِالْقُرْآنِ ‏

Sahih Muslim 792 b

This hadith has been narrated by Ibn Shihab with the same chain of transmitters with words:

" As He listens to a Prophet reciting the Qur'an in a sweet voice."

وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ كَمَا يَأْذَنُ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
