(26) باب تَأْوِيلِ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ‏{‏ وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعًا مِنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ ‏}‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 915

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:

"The Prophet (ﷺ) was given seven oft-recited; the seven long ones."

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَبْعًا مِنَ الْمَثَانِي السَّبْعَ الطُّوَلَ ‏.‏
