(24) باب الْقَصْدِ فِي الْخُطْبَةِ

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1582

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said:

"I used to pray with the Prophet (ﷺ) and his prayer was moderate in length and his Khutbah was moderate in length."

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَكَانَتْ صَلاَتُهُ قَصْدًا وَخُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا ‏.‏
