(101) Chapter: What was narrated concerning two Rak’ah before Fajr

(101) باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ

Sunan Ibn Majah 1147

It was narrated that ‘Ali said:

“The Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform two Rak’ah at the time of the Iqamah.”

حَدَّثَنَا الْخَلِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو أَبُو عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ عِنْدَ الإِقَامَةِ ‏.‏
