The Mubarak Ring Of Rasoolullah
Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 92
Anas said:
"When the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) entered the toilet, he used to remove his signet ring.”
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، وَالْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلاءَ نَزَعَ خَاتَمَهُ.

As the name of Allah Jalla Jalaaluhu was engraved on it, he never went to the toilet with it. For this reason the 'ulama have written that it is makruh to go to the toilet with anything that has a venerable name or sentence on it.
