What Rasoolullah Would Eat with Bread
Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 169
'A’isha said (may Allah be well pleased with her):
“The foreleg was not the meat dearest to Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace), but he only got to have meat occasionally, so he would rush to it, because it was the part that got done the most quickly.”
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ، مِنْ بَنِي عَبَّادٍ يُقَالَ لَهُ: عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: مَا كَانَتِ الذِّرَاعُ أَحَبَّ اللَّحْمِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ لا يَجِدُ اللَّحْمَ إِلا غِبًّا، وَكَانَ يَعْجَلُ إِلَيْهَا، لأَنَّهَا أَعْجَلُهَا نُضْجًا.

In the narration, it is stated that Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam liked the dhiraa part of the meat. It is possible there were many reasons for him liking this portion. Among them is also the one related by Sayyiditina 'Aayeshah Radiyallahu 'Anha. Sayyiditina 'Aayeshah Radiyallahu 'Anha denies Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam liked the dhiraa portion and this denial apparently seems to be that it appears the liking of the dhiraa portion because of greed and desire, which is against the dignity of Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallam, otherwise there is no denial of his liking only that portion of the meat.
