(349) Chapter: Prohibition for a Slave to run away from his Master

(349) - باب تغليظ تحريم إباق العبد من سيده

Riyad as-Salihin 1768

Jarir bin Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "If a slave runs away from his master, his responsibility to him is absolved."

[Muslim].

عن جرير بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال ‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏‏ "‏أيما عبد أبق، فقد برئت منه الذمة ‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏
