Mishkat al-Masabih 4144

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported the Prophet as saying, "When a fly alights on food plunge it in, for one of its wings contains poison and the other a cure, and it puts the poison first and the cure second." It is transmitted in Sharh as-sunna.

وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي الطَّعَامِ فَامْقُلُوهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ سُمًّا وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءً وَإِنَّهُ يُقَدِّمُ السَّمَّ وَيُؤَخِّرُ الشِّفَاءَ» . رَوَاهُ فِي شرح السّنة
