Mishkat al-Masabih 4130

Khalid b. al-Walld said God’s messenger prohibited eating the flesh of horses, mules and asses. Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.

وَعَن خالدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ والبِغالِ والحميرِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ
