Abud Darda’ said God’s messenger forbade eating the mujaththama, which is the animal kept as a target for arrows. Tirmidhi transmitted it.

وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ الْمُجَثَّمَةِ وهيَ الَّتِي تُصْبَرُ بالنَّبلِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
