(25) باب الْكُحْلِ بِالإِثْمِدِ
Sunan Ibn Majah 3497
It was
narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
said:
“The best of your kohl is antimony, for it improves the eyesight
and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" خَيْرُ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الإِثْمِدُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ " .
