Bulugh al-Maram 1520
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Beware of suspicion, for suspicion amounts to the worst form of lying.” Agreed upon.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ, فَإِنَّ اَلظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ اَلْحَدِيثِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . 1 .
