Musnad Ahmad 1159

It was narrated from `Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade, or forbade me [`Ali], red saddle cloths, garments made from a blend of linen and silk, and gold rings.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي عَنْ الْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْقَسِّيِّ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ‏.‏
